  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup additional powdered sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and 1/2 cup of powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in the vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
  4. Slowly add the flour and salt, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  6. Shape the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
