Cheesy Ground Beef and Rice Casserole

  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  3. Add the rice, beef broth, tomatoes, and seasonings to the skillet and stir well.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rice is cooked.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
