Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Smoked Sausage

A flavorful and simple dish combining cheesy potatoes and smoked sausage.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds baby potatoes
  • 1 pound smoked sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and cut baby potatoes in half.
  3. In a bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  4. Spread potatoes on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
  5. While the potatoes are baking, slice the smoked sausage.
  6. After 25 minutes, stir in the sausage with the potatoes and bake for another 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, until cheese is melted.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped green onions before serving.
  • This dish can be served as a side or a main course.
