Kielbasa Sausage Cheesy Potato Casserole

A delicious and comforting dish that combines creamy potatoes and savory kielbasa sausage.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 pound kielbasa sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine sliced potatoes, kielbasa, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the potato mixture, followed by half of the soup mixture, and half of the cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • For an extra flavor kick, add sliced onions or bell peppers to the mixture.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
