  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the melted butter, milk, orange juice, orange zest, and eggs.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Divide the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the wet ingredients.
