Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 15×10-inch jelly roll pan and line with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs and sugar until thick and pale. Stir in pumpkin and vanilla.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture and mix well.
  5. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until it springs back when touched.
  7. Remove from the oven and immediately roll the cake with the parchment paper. Let it cool.
  8. To make the filling, beat together cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  9. Unroll the cake, spread the filling, and re-roll carefully.
  10. Chill for at least an hour before slicing.
