  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons red food coloring
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in red food coloring and vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  7. Fold in white chocolate chips.
  8. Spread the dough into a greased baking pan.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, try adding cream cheese frosting on top.
  • These cookie bars can also be served warm with ice cream.
