  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup additional granulated sugar for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, combine the melted butter, buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla extract.

  6. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and additional granulated sugar, then sprinkle over the top of the batter.
