  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the sour cream, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
