  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract and sour cream.
  5. Fold in the flour until just combined.
  6. Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until set but still slightly wobbly in the center.
  8. Turn off the oven, crack the door, and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for 1 hour.
  9. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.
